Analysis: Investors in US and other More than 50 Countries Won’t be Allowed to Telegram’s Public Sale in July

[ChainDD report] June 13 (ChainDD) As to the recent news that crypto exchange Liquid will start public sale of Gram, a token of Telegram’s blockchain platform TON, on July 10 through partnership with Gram Asia ,a so-called largest Gram holder in Asia, Su Zhu, CEO of Three Arrows Capital, commented via his personal Twitter account that Gram Asia will "effectively [be] syndicating its Grams holdings onto Liquid Exchange clients", but the sold tokens won’t be released before TON launch so buyers won’t transfer, withdraw or trade them until launch. Su also expects such sales won’t be available in more than 50 countries such as US, Canada and Japan since Simple Agreement for Future Tokens (SAFT) agreements are usually explicitly prohibitive of being sold on the secondary market.
