Bitcoin Futures Rally Above $8100 to More Than One Week Highest
[ChainDD report] June 13 (ChainDD) On June 12 EST, the most active Bitcoin futures contracts of two major U.S. futures exchanges bounced more than $200 after falling off $8000 in the previous session, and closed above $8100 for the first time since June 3. As of June 7, the futures tumbled 6% in a week, ending the five-week winning streak but recorded more than 62% surge in the whole month of May.
July-delivered Bitcoin futures BTC at CME Group, the largest futures exchange in the world, gained about 3.5% to $8195, dropping about 6% during last week.
June-delivered Bitcoin futures XBT at Cboe, the largest option exchange in U.S., rose about 3.2% to $8160, with a weekly decline about 5.9% as of June 7.
According to ChainDD’s market tracking indicators, Bitcoin spot price on Binance also traded above $8100, advancing more than 2% over the past 24 hours.
